TESTING TESTING.... Introducing Rotting On The Vine

I have a 15 year-old minor in Poetry from the Rhode Island School of Design. I am not a writer.
As my first installment of Rotting on the Vine, I want to give you a taste of what to expect. Part esoteric homesteading guide, Part travel guide for the truly lost, Part decaying Angelino mom’s endless search for the best crap out there, I hope this segment can lead us all on a path of discovery.
The world doesn't need much more on it. My daily practice looks like this: striving to justify the few things I’m adding to the world, while my free hand scours the bowels of the internet, gleaning the good good... I rarely buy the treasure I find.
I am merely a conduit. Not here to tell you what is right or wrong, true or false. Not getting paid to tell you to buy $900 leggings. This is not a trend report. This is proverbial schlep, I am a digital picker and I like to be of use.
Around the corner, a new season beckons, as does an increased desire to “turn on, tune in and drop out.”
Unfortunately for me and fortunately for you, I don't have the option to drop out (preschool tuition, ambitions to start a commune, an avant-guard fashion business to tend to.) Instead I'm here to tune in, in a new way, to try to find some semblance of connection as I tumble through space on this nasty rock, with you.
